Walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7.
We are told that we should “fight the good fight of faith and lay hold of eternal life” 1 Tim. 6:12. We are told that faith is something that can be seen, for the Word says, “Jesus saw their faith…” Matthew 9:2. We are told to “have the faith as a mustard seed” Matthew 12:20. We are told that faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17.
Twice Jesus marveled: once at the great faith of the Centurian, Luke 7:9, and once at the unbelief (lack of faith) of the people in his hometown of Nazareth, Mark 6:6.
Let us be people of great faith!
