Imagine waiting for the Messiah for hundreds of years, and suddenly the time has come and The Christ is present. There is confusion, there is ignorance of the Scriptures, there are doubters, and then there are those who do not understand, but want to believe. Bill Johnson said, “Not understanding is okay. Restricting our spiritual life to what we understand is not.” We are not in control, God is! Maturity in the faith requires a heartfelt embrace of what we do not understand as an essential expression of faith.
